REGENERATION

Regeneration is about reinvention and innovation. The arts can play a powerful role in allowing communities to ‘re-see’ themselves, thereby ensuring that Regeneration is a process that happens with a community, not to them. We also believe that by providing honest, innovative feedback through creative methods, all parties—whether local authorities, developers or residents—ultimately learn, and benefit.

A current example of our Regeneration work is the Billboard Project.

Billboard Project
Through July 2007, Nimble Fish are developing and delivering the Billboard Project, an Essex-wide community regeneration programme. Focused on a ‘mobile media laboratory’ built by Futurecity Arts Billboard is giving young people throughout Essex a powerful, creative voice in community regeneration through a variety of art and media forms Billboard is a joint project of Creative Partnerships and the East of England Development Agency.
